Literature Review

Looks at information that exists on a variety of fields.

These topics are:

1. Wildlife Trafficking in Central Africa and Cameroon

2. Current methods utilized to combat poaching and illicit trade

3. Existing literature on the Use of AI in combatting the illicit wildlife trade

4. AI in fighting Criminal trafficking, Analyzing Transportation Routes, and Understanding Human Behavior

Exploratory Analysis

The Exploratory Analysis examines the dataset I had attened to use and the one I created. It looks at why the original data put by an NGO is vastly wrong and why the daatset I created is the msot accurate. External factors are also looked at such as the Anglophone Crisis, Boko Haram, and trends in species demand

Purpose of this Project

It is hoped that with this project, Machine Learning can be utillized to both identify and predict wildlife trafficing activity in Cameroon

Evaluation & Conclusion

With this section, the machine learning algorithms will be looked at to see how good they are at determining areas often visited by wildlife traffickers and then predicitng future hotspots

A conclusion will then be given where the results will be connected to what was discussed with the literature and real world applications will be discussed.
